This pic seems to capture "the in between-ness" of November. The grass is still green but the leaves are mostly gone. In between-ness is a hard thing for us at times, when we notice. We're waiting for change, anticipation, while longing to hold on to the comforts of the past. That would be an appropriate description of the present, I suppose. It all seems elusive: past - gone, present - gone before we know it, future - unknown to us despite all our planning. I'm very interested in time, it's passage, progression and our perception. And here we are at the end of November!
This was taken on the windiest of days - 50 mph gusts! I made time to visit the Blue Tree wondering if it would be down by the time I arrived.
The Blue Tree still stands, making connections. Thanksgivings abound.
